Vault 3 auto-detects phone numbers, email addresses, and web addresses. When you're in the Text tab, just click a phone number, email address, or website address.

Passwords and Security
Smart phones are frequently lost or stolen. Consequently, you should password-protect any Vault 3 documents containing any data that you would not want to fall into the wrong hands. Also, you should specify a screen lock PIN and a short screen timeout. Screen lock PINs are more secure than patterns, because patterns can often be deduced by inspecting the smudges on the phone's screen.
When you password-protect a Vault 3 document, that document is securely encrypted. To password-protect a Vault 3 document, open that file in Vault 3. Go to the File tab.

Click the "Password" button. Make sure the "Require a password" checkbox is checked. Enter a password. Note, passwords that are simply one or more words found in a dictionary are less secure. Remember your password! You will not be able to open a password-protected Vault 3 document without it.
Specifying a Password for a Vault 3 Document
You can choose to have Vault 3 save passwords in memory, to avoid having to enter the password every time you open a password-protected document. To enable password caching, click the Menu button, and then click "Settings", and check the "Cache Passwords" checkbox. Cached passwords are stored in Vault 3's memory (RAM), not on persistent storage. When Vault 3 is run after being shut down by the system, passwords will have to be re-entered.

Go to the "File" tab. Long-click a file and click "Remove", "Rename", or "Copy".
Vault 3 for Desktop Computers
Vault 3 is available for desktop computers. Click Vault 3 Desktop Versions to download a desktop version of Vault 3. The desktop versions of Vault can manipulate the same documents as the Android version, provided the desktop version is at least 0.39.
